1여호와께서 시내산에서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
And Jehovah spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
2이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 너희는 내가 너희에게 주는 땅에 들어간 후에 그 땅으로 여호와 앞에 안식하게 하라
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto Jehovah.
3너는 육 년 동안 그 밭에 파종하며 육 년 동안 그 포도원을 다스려 그 열매를 거둘 것이나
Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruits thereof;
4제칠년에는 땅으로 쉬어 안식하게 할지니 여호와께 대한 안식이라 너는 그 밭에 파종하거나 포도원을 다스리지 말며
but in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath unto Jehovah: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
5너의 곡물의 스스로 난 것을 거두지 말고 다스리지 아니한 포도나무의 맺은 열매를 거두지 말라 이는 땅의 안식년임이니라
That which groweth of itself of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, and the grapes of thy undressed vine thou shalt not gather: it shall be a year of solemn rest for the land.
6안식년의 소출은 너희의 먹을 것이니 너와 네 남종과 네 여종과 네 품꾼과 너와 함께 거하는 객과
And the sabbath of the land shall be for food for you; for thee, and for thy servant and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant and for thy stranger, who sojourn with thee.
7네 육축과 네 땅에 있는 들짐승들이 다 그 소산으로 식물을 삼을지니라
And for thy cattle, and for the beasts that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be for food.
8너는 일곱 안식년을 계수할지니 이는 칠 년이 일곱 번인즉 안식년 일곱 번 동안 곧 사십구 년이라
And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and there shall be unto thee the days of seven sabbaths of years, even forty and nine years.
9칠월 십일은 속죄일이니 너는 나팔 소리를 내되 전국에서 나팔을 크게 불지며
Then shalt thou send abroad the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month; in the day of atonement shall ye send abroad the trumpet throughout all your land.
10제오십년을 거룩하게 하여 전국 거민에게 자유를 공포하라 이 해는 너희에게 희년이니 너희는 각각 그 기업으로 돌아가며 각각 그 가족에게로 돌아갈지며
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
11그 오십년은 너희의 희년이니 너희는 파종하지 말며 스스로 난 것을 거두지 말며 다스리지 아니한 포도를 거두지 말라
A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather `the grapes' in it of the undressed vines.
12이는 희년이니 너희에게 거룩함이니라 너희가 밭의 소산을 먹으리라
For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
13이 희년에는 너희가 각기 기업으로 돌아갈지라
In this year of jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.
14네 이웃에게 팔든지 네 이웃의 손에서 사거든 너희는 서로 속이지 말라
And if thou sell aught unto thy neighbor, or buy of thy neighbor's hand, ye shall not wrong one another.
15희년 후의 연수를 따라서 너는 이웃에게 살 것이요 그도 그 열매를 얻을 연수를 따라서 네게 팔 것인즉
According to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbor, `and' according unto the number of years of the crops he shall sell unto thee.
16연수가 많으면 너는 그 값을 많게 하고 연수가 적으면 너는 그 값을 적게 할지니 곧 그가 그 열매의 다소를 따라서 네게 팔 것이라
According to the multitude of the years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of the years thou shalt diminish the price of it; for the number of the crops doth he sell unto thee.
17너희는 서로 속이지 말고 너희의 하나님을 경외하라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
And ye shall not wrong one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am Jehovah your God.
18너희는 내 법도를 행하며 내 규례를 지켜 행하라 그리하면 너희가 그 땅에 안전히 거할 것이라
Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep mine ordinances and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
19땅은 그 산물을 내리니 너희가 배불리 먹고 거기 안전히 거하리라
And the land shall yield its fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.
20혹 너희 말이 우리가 만일 제칠년에 심지도 못하고 그 산물을 거두지도 못하면 무엇을 먹으리요 하겠으나
And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase;
21내가 명하여 제육년에 내 복을 너희에게 내려 그 소출이 삼 년 쓰기에 족하게 할지라
then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for the three years.
22너희가 제팔년에는 파종하려니와 묵은 곡식을 먹을 것이며 제구년 곧 추수하기까지 묵은 곡식을 먹으리라
And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat of the fruits, the old store; until the ninth year, until its fruits come in, ye shall eat the old store.
23토지를 영영히 팔지 말 것은 토지는 다 내 것임이라 너희는 나그네요 우거하는 자로서 나와 함께 있느니라
And the land shall not be sold in perpetuity; for the land is mine: for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
24너희 기업의 온 땅에서 그 토지 무르기를 허락할지니
And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.
25만일 너희 형제가 가난하여 그 기업 얼마를 팔았으면 그 근족이 와서 동족의 판 것을 무를 것이요
If thy brother be waxed poor, and sell some of his possession, then shall his kinsman that is next unto him come, and shall redeem that which his brother hath sold.
26만일 그것을 무를 사람이 없고 자기가 부요하게 되어 무를 힘이 있거든
And if a man have no one to redeem it, and he be waxed rich and find sufficient to redeem it;
27그 판 해를 계수하여 그 남은 값을 산 자에게 주고 그 기업으로 돌아갈 것이니라
then let him reckon the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; and he shall return unto his possession.
28그러나 자기가 무를 힘이 없으면 그 판 것이 희년이 이르기까지 산자의 손에 있다가 희년에 미쳐 돌아올지니 그가 곧 그 기업으로 돌아갈 것이니라
But if he be not able to get it back for himself, then that which he hath sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubilee: and in the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.
29성벽 있는 성내의 가옥을 팔았으면 판 지 만 일 년 안에는 무를 수 있나니 곧 그 기한 안에 무르려니와
And if a man sell a dwelling-house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; for a full year shall he have the right of redemption.
30주년 내에 무르지 못하면 그 성내 가옥은 산 자의 소유로 확정되어 대대로 영영히 그에게 속하고 희년에라도 돌려 보내지 아니할 것이니라
And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be made sure in perpetuity to him that bought it, throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubilee.
31그러나 성벽이 둘리지 아니한 촌락의 가옥은 나라의 전토 일례로 물러주기도 할 것이요 희년에 돌려 보내기도 할 것이니라
But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be reckoned with the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee.
32레위 족속의 성읍 곧 그 기업의 성읍의 가옥은 레위 사람이 언제든지 무를 수 있으나
Nevertheless the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time.
33레위 사람이 만일 무르지 아니하면 그 기업된 성읍의 판 가옥은 희년에 돌려 보낼지니 대저 레위 사람의 성읍의 가옥은 이스라엘 자손 중에서 얻을 기업이 됨이니라
And if one of the Levites redeem, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.
34그러나 그 성읍의 들의 사면 밭은 그의 영원한 기업이니 팔지 못할지니라
But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.
35네 동족이 빈한하게 되어 빈 손으로 네 곁에 있거든 너는 그를 도와 객이나 우거하는 자처럼 너와 함께 생활하게 하되
And if thy brother be waxed poor, and his hand fail with thee; then thou shalt uphold him: `as' a stranger and a sojourner shall he live with thee.
36너는 그에게 이식을 취하지 말고 네 하나님을 경외하여 네 형제로 너와 함께 생활하게 할 것인즉
Take thou no interest of him or increase, but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.
37너는 그에게 이식을 위하여 돈을 꾸이지 말고 이익을 위하여 식물을 꾸이지 말라
Thou shalt not give him thy money upon interest, nor give him thy victuals for increase.
38나는 너희 하나님이 되려고 또는 가나안 땅으로 너희에게 주려고 애굽 땅에서 너희를 인도하여 낸 너희 하나님 여호와니라
I am Jehovah your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, `and' to be your God.
39네 동족이 반한하게 되어 네게 몸이 팔리거든 너는 그를 종으로 부리지 말고
And if thy brother be waxed poor with thee, and sell himself unto thee; thou shalt not make him to serve as a bond-servant.
40품꾼이나 우거하는 자 같이 너와 함께 있게 하여 희년까지 너를 섬기게 하라
As a hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee; he shall serve with thee unto the year of jubilee:
41그 때에는 그와 그 자녀가 함께 네게서 떠나 그 본족에게로 돌아가서 조상의 기업을 회복하리라
then shall he go out from thee, he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.
42그들은 내가 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸바 나의 품꾼인즉 종으로 팔리지 말 것이라
For they are my servants, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.
43너는 그를 엄하게 부리지 말고 너의 하나님을 경외하라
Thou shalt not rule over him with rigor, but shalt fear thy God.
44너의 종은 남녀를 무론하고 너의 사면 이방인 중에서 취할지니 남녀 종은 이런 자 중에서 살 것이며
And as for thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, whom thou shalt have; of the nations that are round about you, of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
45또 너희 중에 우거한 이방인의 자녀 중에서도 너희가 살 수 있고 또 그들이 너희 중에서 살아서 너희 땅에서 가정을 이룬 그 중에서도 그리 할 수 있은즉 그들이 너희 소유가 될지니
Moreover of the children of the strangers that sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they have begotten in your land: and they shall be your possession.
46너희는 그들을 너희 후손에게 기업으로 주어 소유가 되게 할 것이라 이방인 중에서는 너희가 영원한 종을 삼으려니와 너희 동족 이스라엘 자손은 너희 피차 엄하게 부리지 말지니라
And ye shall make them an inheritance for your children after you, to hold for a possession; of them shall ye take your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel ye shall not rule, one over another, with rigor.
47너희 중에 우거하는 이방인은 부요하게 되고 그 곁에 사는 너희 동족은 빈한하게 됨으로 너희 중에 우거하는 그 이방인에게나 그 족속에게 몸이 팔렸으면
And if a stranger or sojourner with thee be waxed rich, and thy brother be waxed poor beside him, and sell himself unto the stranger `or' sojourner with thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family;
48팔린 후에 그를 속량할 수 있나니 그 형제 중 하나가 속하거나
after that he is sold he may be redeemed: one of his brethren may redeem him;
49삼촌이나 사촌이 속하거나 그 근족 중 누구든지 속할 것이요 그가 부요하게 되면 스스로 속하되
or his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be waxed rich, he may redeem himself.
50자기 몸이 팔린 해로부터 희년까지를 그 산 자와 계산하여 그 년수를 따라서 그 몸의 값을 정할 때에 그 사람을 섬긴 날을 그 사람에게 고용된 날로 여길 것이라
And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he sold himself to him unto the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years; according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.
51만일 남은 해가 많으면 그 연수대로 팔린 값에서 속하는 값을 그 사람에게 도로 주고
If there be yet many years, according unto them he shall give back the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.
52만일 희년까지 남은 해가 적으면 그 사람과 계산하여 그 연수대로 속하는 그 값을 그에게 도로 줄지며
And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall reckon with him; according unto his years shall he give back the price of his redemption.
53주인은 그를 매년의 삯군과 같이 여기고 너의 목전에서 엄하게 부리지 못하리라
As a servant hired year by year shall he be with him: he shall not rule with rigor over him in thy sight.
54그가 이같이 속하지 못하면 희년에 이르러 그와 그 자녀가 자유하리니
And if he be not redeemed by these `means', then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, he, and his children with him.
55이스라엘 자손은 나의 품꾼이 됨이라 그들은 내가 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 나의 품꾼이요 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.
