1이스라엘의 아들은 이러하니 르우벤과 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사갈과 스불론과
These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2단과 요셉과 베냐민과 납달리와 갓과 아셀이더라
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3유다의 아들은 에르와 오난과 셀라니 이 세 사람은 가나안 사람 수아의 딸이 유다로 말미암아 낳은 자요 유다의 맏아들 에르는 여호와 보시기에 악하였으므로 여호와께서 죽이셨고
The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah; which three were born unto him of Shua's daughter the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's first-born, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him.
4유다의 며느리 다말이 유다로 말미암아 베레스와 세라를 낳았으니 유다의 아들이 모두 다섯이더라
And Tamar his daughter-in-law bare him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5베레스의 아들은 헤스론과 하물이요
The sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
6세라의 아들은 시므리와 에단과 헤만과 갈골과 다라니 모두 다섯 사람이요
And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; five of them in all.
7가르미의 아들은 아갈이니 저는 마땅히 멸할 물건으로 인하여 이스라엘을 괴롭게 한 자며
And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.
8에단의 아들은 아사랴더라
And the sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9헤스론의 낳은 아들은 여라므엘과 람과 글루배라
The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10람은 암미나답을 낳았고 암미나답은 나손을 낳았으니 나손은 유다 자손의 방백이며
And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11나손은 살마를 낳았고 살마는 보아스를 낳았고
and Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12보아스는 오벳을 낳았고 오벳은 이새를 낳았고
and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse;
13이새는 맏아들 엘리압과 둘째로 아비나답과 세째로 시므아와
and Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
14네째로 느다넬과 다섯째로 랏대와
Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15여섯째로 오셈과 일곱째로 다윗을 낳았으며
Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;
16저희의 자매는 스루야와 아비가일이라 스루야의 아들은 아비새와 요압과 아사헬 삼 형제요
and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
17아비가일은 아마사를 낳았으니 아마사의 아비는 이스마엘 사람 예델이었더라
And Abigail bare Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
18헤스론의 아들 갈렙이 그 아내 아수바와 여리옷에게서 아들을 낳았으니 그 낳은 아들은 예셀과 소밥과 아르돈이며
And Caleb the son of Hezron begat `children' of Azubah `his' wife, and of Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19아수바가 죽은 후에 갈렙이 또 에브랏에게 장가 들었더니 에브랏이 그로 말미암아 훌을 낳았고
And Azubah died, and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, who bare him Hur.
20훌은 우리를 낳았고 우리는 브사렐을 낳았더라
And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.
21그 후에 헤스론이 육십 세에 길르앗의 아비 마길의 딸에게 장가들어 동침하였더니 저가 헤스론으로 말미암아 스굽을 낳았으며
And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he took `to wife' when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
22스굽은 야일을 낳았고 야일은 길르앗 땅에서 스물세 성읍을 가졌더니
And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23그술과 아람이 야일의 성읍들과 그낫과 그 성들 모두 육십을 그들에게서 빼앗았으며 저희는 다 길르앗의 아비 마길의 자손이었더라
And Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24헤스론이 갈렙 에브라다에서 죽은 후에 그 아내 아비야가 그로 말미암아 아스훌을 낳았으니 아스훌은 드고아의 아비더라
And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephrathah, then Abijah Hezron's wife bare him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
25헤스론의 맏아들 여라므엘의 아들은 맏아들 람과 그 다음 브나와 오렌과 오셈과 아히야며
And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron were Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26여라므엘이 다른 아내가 있었으니 이름은 아다라라 저는 오남의 어미더라
And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27여라므엘의 맏아들 람의 아들은 마아스와 야민과 에겔이요
And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28오남의 아들들은 삼매와 야다요 삼매의 아들은 나답과 아비술이며
And the sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
29아비술의 아내의 이름은 아비하일이라 저가 그로 말미암아 아반과 몰릿을 낳았으며
And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30나답의 아들은 셀렛과 압바임이라 셀렛은 아들이 없이 죽었고
And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
31압바임의 아들은 이시요 이시의 아들은 세산이요 세산의 아들은 알래요
And the sons of Appaim: Ishi. And the sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32삼매의 아우 야다의 아들은 예델과 요나단이라 예델은 아들이 없이 죽었고
And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
33요나단의 아들은 벨렛과 사사라 여라므엘의 자손은 이러하며
And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34세산은 아들이 없고 딸뿐이라 그에게 야르하라 하는 애굽 종이 있는고로
Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35딸을 그 종 야르하에게 주어 아내를 삼게 하였더니 저가 그로 말미암아 앗대를 낳았고
And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.
36앗대는 나단을 낳았고 나단은 사밧을 낳았고
And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37사밧은 에블랄을 낳았고 에블랄은 오벳을 낳았고
and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38오벳은 예후를 낳았고 예후는 아사랴를 낳았고
and Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,
39아사랴는 헬레스를 낳았고 헬레스는 엘르아사를 낳았고
and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40엘르아사는 시스매를 낳았고 시스매는 살룸을 낳았고
and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum,
41살룸은 여가먀를 낳았고 여가먀는 엘리사마를 낳았더라
and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42여라므엘의 아우 갈렙의 아들 곧 맏아들은 메사니 십의 아비요 그 아들은 마레사니 헤브론의 아비며
And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his first-born, who was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43헤브론의 아들은 고라와 답부아와 레겜과 세마라
And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44세마는 라함을 낳았으니 라함은 요르그암의 아비며 레겜은 삼매를 낳았고
And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begat Shammai.
45삼매의 아들은 마온이라 마온은 벳술의 아비며
And the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46갈렙의 첩 에바는 하란과 모사와 가세스를 낳았고 하란은 가세스를 낳았으며
And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begat Gazez.
47야대의 아들은 레겜과 요단과 게산과 벨렛과 에바와 사압이며
And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jothan, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48갈렙의 첩 마아가는 세벨과 디르하나를 낳았고
Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
49또 맛만나의 아비 사압을 낳았고 또 막베나와 기브아의 아비 스와를 낳았으며 갈렙의 딸은 악사더라
She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50갈렙의 자손 곧 에브라다의 맏아들 훌의 아들은 이러하니 기럇여아림의 아비 소발과
These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,
51베들레헴의 아비 살마와 벧가델의 아비 하렙이라
Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52기럇여아림의 아비 소발의 자손은 하로에와 므누홋 사람의 절반이니
And Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.
53기럇여아림 족속들은 이델 족속과 붓 족속과 수맛 족속과 미스라 족속이라 이로 말미암아 소라와 에스다올 두 족속이 나왔으며
And the families of Kiriath-jearim: The Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
54살마의 자손들은 베들레헴과 느도바 족속과 아다롯벳요압과 마하낫 족속의 절반과 소라 족속과
The sons of Salma: Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
55야베스에 거한 서기관 족속 곧 디랏 족속과 시므앗 족속과 수갓 족속이니 이는 다 레갑의 집 조상 함맛에게서 나온 겐 족속이더라
And the families of scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
